With the quest for sustainable, practical, multifunctional clothing and the aim to create zero-waste fashion, the brand LMj was founded in Melbourne in 2015. It explores the reinterpretation and values of clothes and their cultural origin. We educate ourselves by taking inspiration from ancient cultures and Artisan crafts.

Our design aesthetic lies in self-expression, finding an identity and social acceptance. Our unique pieces are designed with love, respect for nature, and the beauty of all races and genderless qualities.

All garments are unique and handmade from either raw or recycled materials and naturally dyed. ​A controversial combination of rich natural tones, asymmetrical cuts, masculine elements and oversized layers is linked by stark black. This trademarks our work, reflecting the beauty of anonymity and no given trend. Sustainability, simplicity, and practicality are our greatest inspirations!
Our Mission
By challenging the Status Quo, we design avant-garde womenswear, unisex looks and exquisite slow fashion with an edge, to attract the spirit of the outsider soul that yearns beyond the mainstream.
With a stance against fast fashion, we use design to promote social change in society, empower diversity, and foster a more sustainable future within the fashion industry. We communicate our deepest respect towards people from other cultures, indigenous people and people with individual differences.
​As part of the slow fashion movement, we want society to wake up, think sustainably, act consciously, be more aware, and move away from a mass-produced world filled with anger, greed, and waste.

Through our work, we try to find new ways to save our planet. We showcase our collections on an international scale and share our skills while fostering respect for the equality of all humankind.
